Search for the smuggler's on this gentle half hour walk.
Board the Flushing Ferry from Prince of Wales Peir, Falmouth to Flushing, a picturesque Dutch influenced town with a good quayside restaurant and pubs.
Turn right at the public amenities block, and keeping the water on your right hand side head towards Mylor along the coastal path.
After you round Trefusis Point look out for the cave and steps cut into the foreshore, once used to transfer contraband goods ashore; the cave marks the entrance of an old tunnel that leads up the hill.
Once in Mylor, there are a couple of good places to eat including Castaways or Mylor Seafood Restaurant, take a look around the chandlery before heading back to Flushing for a return ferry.
Alternatively, at Mylor continue along the latter section of the Smuggler’s Trail to Mylor Creek, Old Greatwood Quay, and on to the Pandora Inn at Restronguet.
